Courrèges
Courrèges - from fashion to fragrance
André and Coqueline Courrèges founded Courrèges in 1961, revolutionizing the fashion and design industry with their emphasis on movement, purity, colour, and light. They made their mark with structured lines and a devotion to white, followed by colour variations and new materials like vinyl. In 1971, André Courrèges unveiled Empreinte, an iconic scent that marked the fashion house's foray into fragrance. In 2015, Courrèges launched La fille de l'air, an airy orange blossom fragrance.
In September 2020, Courrèges appointed Nicolas Di Felice as artistic director, and he began to incorporate his passion for fragrance into the brand's ethos. With a vision of fashion as a complete, all-encompassing universe, Di Felice revived the couturier-perfumer tradition and aimed to re-energize the brand's fragrance universe by creating a unique, signature olfactory offering for the brand's 60th anniversary, 50 years after the launch of its first fragrance.
Courreges's scented candles
The Courreges brand is not only a perfume but also sophisticated and elegant home fragrances that will transform your interior.
Courreges scented candles offer a luxurious and eco-friendly way to fill your space with delightful fragrances. These candles come in lacquered glass jars made in France and topped with lids made of lacquered wood from the Jura. The candles feature cotton wicks that offer 43 to 47 hours of scented burning. Additionally, they come nestled in cylindrical boxes made from FSC-certified paper, making them a sustainable choice.
Courreges's fragrances for your home
The base chord of the scents is the intoxicating ambroxan (ambrox), the signature ingredient of all the fragrant creations of Courrèges Parfums, known for its addictive properties and an aroma reminiscent of the smell of our skin. Nicolas Di Felice, the brand's artistic director, chose this distinctive note as the heart of the olfactory universe to give all six fragrances in the collection expression and longevity.
Choose a fragrance for your interior from notes such as fresh laundry scent, white musk, juniper, orange blossom, tea leaves, orange blossom, bergamot and patchouli.
To ensure even burning, it is recommended to burn the candle until the entire surface is liquid during the first use. The wick should be trimmed regularly to prevent smoking and to keep it centred.
