Stelton is a Danish design brand founded in 1960 by Niels Stellan Høm and Carton Madelaire. First they tried selling sports shoes and furniture, but when they heard about a small factory called "Danish Stainless", they started promoting a sauce bowl in stainless steel which became very popular with the Danish hardware stores and outside of Denmark. In 1963 Peter Holmblad was engaged as a Sales Manager of Stelton (and later became the CEO). He brought his visionary ideas and the brand has soon become known for its high-quality, functional, and minimalist designs.

In 2004 the Ring family acquired Stelton and since then Stelton has extended its collaboration with international architects and designers. From kitchenware to tableware and products for tea and coffee, Stelton with its mission to make everyday life beautiful, has managed to create iconic designs that have become classics over time.

The designers behind the brand
