Design dating from 1967 by Claus J. Riedel, developed for the Austrian pavilion on the occasion of the World Exhibition in Montreal. In 2006, the famous champagne producer Moet & Chandon approached Riedel Glas to find a suitable glass for the legendary 2000 vintage. For several weeks, the Moet & Chandon team worked with different shapes to determine the ideal shape for the presentation of their champagne. The staging of the classic, unique aromas of this wine in harmony with the sparkling, fruity and acidity convinced the tasters.

Riedel Vinum XL creates new benchmarks - this new series represents a contemporary interpretation of wine glasses.
