The Profi Resist series pans combine the benefits of stainless steel and non-stick pans while addressing their main weaknesses. A stainless steel pan offers excellent thermal properties. Thanks to its thick steel base, it conducts heat evenly and lasts for years. However, without the right technique, food can easily stick. Conversely, non-stick pans make cooking easier, but their lightweight construction often leads to uneven heat distribution and the pan deforms over time. Plus, the surface is prone to scratching. WMF Profi Resist is the answer.

Protective Grid
The non-stick coating is protected by a raised stainless steel honeycomb structure. This not only guards against scratching but also allows for ideal fat distribution for even, crispy browning.

Non-Stick Surface
Profi Resist Series: Features the patented Permadur coating—extremely durable and PFOA-free.
Profi Resist Ultimate Series: Features a ceramic coating—PFOA and PTFE-free.

Even Heating
The pans are made from a three-layer material: an aluminum core, an inner Cromargan® stainless steel layer, and an outer layer of extremely durable chrome steel. This material evenly distributes heat across the entire surface.

Oven and Induction Safe
What can't regular non-stick pans do? They can't properly "sear" food. On a stainless steel or carbon steel pan, meat is quickly sealed by caramelizing its natural juices. A flavorful crust forms on the surface while the juices remain inside.
