Even the best knives lose their sharpness with time and use. You should therefore sharpen them regularly with a Grand Gourmet sharpener (the exception is knives with a serrated blade, such as a bread knife).
Hold the knife blade at a sharp angle (approx. 20°) to the sharpening steel and pull it alternately from one side and from the other with an even force on the sharpening steel. On the packaging you will find simple instructions on how to do it.
