Product detailed description

Santoku knife should not be missing in the kitchen of any lover of Asian food. It is ideal for slicing and chopping meat, vegetables and herbs. On both sides of the Granton blade you will find identical dimples, thanks to which especially fatty foods do not stick to the blade and everything is sliced very thinly without damage. This protection is further enhanced by the hollow cut on the blade, which creates air pockets.

The special WÜSTHOF knife grinding process called PEtec (Precision Edge Technology) ensures an ideal blade angle. It is a top-class technology where knives are sharpened by robots that are controlled and monitored by computers. The advantage of this process is the precise geometry along the entire length of the blade, the remarkable and extremely high initial cutting performance of the knife comparable to a razor sharp blade and last but not least the long life of the blade.

WÜSTHOF Knife Sharpening

Every knife needs to be sharpened from time to time, as it becomes dull after prolonged use. Chromed steelsare used to maintain and refresh the blade , for sharpening knives we recommend whetstones WÜSTHOF. For the less experienced, we also offer grinders with easier operation. Simply run the blade gently through the grinding groove a few times and the blade will be restored.
