Pocket knife N°06 CARBON 7 cm, natural, beech wood, Opinel

Product detailed description

A pocket knife does not need to be the size of a machete to find a surprisingly large amount of work during the day. The Opinel N°06 CARBON is precisely that subtle helper that takes up a minimum of space and yet, after a few weeks, will make you wonder how you ever managed without it before.

Main advantages:

• The Opinel N°06 CARBON folding knife is a compact helper for everyday carry, sports, trips and finer manual work.
• The 7 cm blade offers a practical size for light cutting, crafting, sewing and other common activities at home or outdoors.
• The XC90 carbon steel blade excels in high hardness, very good cutting performance and easy sharpening during regular edge maintenance.
• Carbon steel has good wear resistance, but is also more sensitive to corrosion and requires more careful maintenance than the stainless steel version.
• The varnished beech wood handle provides a comfortable grip and preserves the characteristic natural look of traditional Opinel folding knives.
• The PEFC-certified beech wood comes from sustainably managed forests in the Jura and Vercors regions and excels in hardness and durability.
• The varnished surface helps protect the wooden handle from moisture and dirt during regular use at home and during outdoor activities.
• The 9.29 cm handle is well suited for smaller hands and allows comfortable guidance of the knife during more precise work.
• The N°06 is the smallest Opinel model equipped with the double Virobloc safety lock, so its compact dimensions are complemented by secure blade locking.
• The Virobloc safety ring allows the blade to be locked in the open position during work and in the closed position during transport and storage.
• The stainless steel Virobloc consists of a fixed and a sliding part, so you can secure the chosen blade position by simply turning the ring as needed.
• The knife is suitable for outdoor and sports activities, but will also serve well for light crafting, model making or sewing.
• The weight of 28 g keeps the knife very light, so you can easily pack it into a pocket, backpack or everyday gear.
• The knife is made in France and uses traditional carbon steel, which is behind the characteristic cutting performance of classic Opinel models.
