Old World Pinot Noir Black and White Twisted glass is a 2017 novelty from the Fatto a Mano collection, which literally translates from Italian as "handmade". The Austrian company Riedel draws inspiration in this collection from traditional Italian glass-working technologies, which it implements with care and precision in its glassworks.

On one hand, the imprint of tradition is clearly visible on this glass, while on the other, it retains the features so typical of the Riedel brand: a specific body shape according to individual wine varieties, very fine, thin-blown walls, purity of form without unnecessary decoration, and an elegant slender stem.

Wine connoisseurs will certainly appreciate that the Old World Pinot Noir shaped glass, thanks to its generous volume, allows the wine to emphasise its unique characteristics. It allows both young and mature wines to breathe and develop all layers of the bouquet as well as the full spectrum of aromas.

A glass with a volume of 705 ml should never be filled completely; we recommend a maximum of 150 ml of wine.

Georg Riedel, representative of the brand's 10th generation, aimed to achieve a colourful celebration of serving wine in all its beauty through the Fatto a Mano collection. The unique stems are not only pleasing to the eye, but when you touch them, you can directly feel the human aspect put into them during the handmade process.

Glasses from the Fatto a Mano collection are available, in addition to the Black and White Twisted edition, in an edition with a slender, high, coloured stem (set white, black, yellow, red, green, blue).
