Whisky glasses and a whisky carafe in a set SCULPTURE, 3 pcs, Nachtmann
Code: NM101984Product detailed description
Torn from a raw piece of ice or rock, rough and smooth at the same time, unfinished yet perfectly crafted. These are exactly the crystal whisky glasses with a decanter Sculpture from the workshops of the German glassworks Nachtmann. Sculpture is more than just glass; it is a sculptural work of art in a modern design.
Wine decanter for whiskey is a great choice for serving select spirits. In the crystal bottle with stopper the drinks look absolutely irresistible! For the best enjoyment and to preserve all the flavours and aromas, only pour a reasonable amount of whisky into the decanter to be consumed over a period of days, weeks at most. This prevents the loss of valuable aromas that would be lost during the slow evaporation of the alcohol during long-term storage.

The Sculpture series impresses with the contrast of smooth glass with unfinished elements representing raw rock and its inner beauty. The complex geometry of the untreated surface, together with the perfection of the clear smooth surfaces, creates a rough yet refined appearance of the final products.
The original Sculpture collection was created in 2012 by the promising Turkish designer Ahmet Uslu as a result of the Nachtmann NEXTGEN design competition. This year's competition sought young talent in Stockholm in collaboration with Konstfakt, Sweden's leading university of art, craft and design.
Nachtmann NEXTGEN: Competition and Collaboration
Since 2008, prestigious design schools have been able to nominate their talented students for the Nachtmann NextGen competition, which seeks young, promising designers worldwide. Independent product designer Stefanie Kubanek, in collaboration with the Nachtmann team, creates new assignments for each project. After introducing students to the practical side of glass production directly in the glassworks in Germany, an intensive phase of work on the design itself follows.
The winning design materializes from an idea into a final product: a design series produced under the Nachtmann brand.
