Vegetable peeler N°115 PAYSAGE 16 cm, blue, hornbeam wood, Opinel

Product detailed description

A good peeler knows the difference between peeling vegetables and their gradual demolition. The N°115 helps remove the skin quickly and efficiently, so that when you are finished, there is still something more left of the carrot than just an optimistic memory.

Main advantages:

• The Opinel N°115 PAYSAGE peeler is a practical helper for quick and convenient peeling of fruit and vegetables during everyday food preparation.
• The 6 cm blade allows for smooth removal of a thin layer of skin and makes working with potatoes, carrots, apples and other common ingredients easy.
• The double-sided blade design allows for comfortable use by both right-handed and left-handed users, making the peeler a great addition to the entire household.
• A blade thickness of only 0.8 mm contributes to precise work and helps to remove the skin during peeling without unnecessarily wasting the pulp.
• The pointed tip of the blade can also be used for minor cleaning of vegetables and removing unwanted parts during the preparation of ingredients.
• Martensitic stainless steel of European origin with a hardness of 55-57 HRC offers high mechanical resistance and very good protection against corrosion.
• The high abrasion resistance of the Steel helps to keep the working edges in good condition even with regular use in the kitchen.
• Stainless steel does not require special maintenance under normal conditions, which is practical for kitchen utensils used almost every day.
• The Blue handle made of lacquered hornbeam wood gives the peeler a distinctive look and makes it easy to spot among other Kitchen utensils.
• The PEFC-certified hornbeam wood comes from ecologically managed forests in the Jura and Vercors regions.
• Light hornbeam wood with a fine grain takes color treatment well, allowing the rich red shade of the handle to stand out.
• The varnished surface helps protect the wooden handle from moisture and dirt during regular use.
• The 9.8 cm handle provides a comfortable space for holding and good control over the peeler during longer preparation of larger quantities of ingredients.
• The low weight of 19 g contributes to easy handling and reduces hand fatigue during repeated peeling of fruit or vegetables.
• The peeler is made in France and its blue design belongs to the Paysage colour range inspired by nature.
