Pocket knife N°12 EFFILÉ 12 cm, natural, olive wood, Opinel

Product detailed description

There are tools for big life decisions, and then there are tools for the moment when you are defeated by three centimetres of adhesive tape. Opinel N°02 CARBON specialises in the latter category without grand gestures, and does so with surprising dignity.

Main advantages:

• The Opinel N°12 EFFILÉ folding knife is an elegant pocket knife for everyday carry, dining on the go and light kitchen tasks.
• The slim 12 cm blade allows for precise cutting and is well suited for slicing thin slices.
• The EFFILÉ range is also designed for working with fish, so the delicate blade is perfect for portioning and filleting smaller catches.
• Its compact dimensions make it easy to pack the knife for a trip, picnic, or holiday, keeping it ready for everyday use.
• The elegant design also makes perfect sense when dining out, where the knife offers a more precise cut than standard universal cutlery.
• The new version of the blade features a more rounded tip, which highlights the more casual character of this everyday carry model.
• The mirror-polished blade is created by double polishing, which, in addition to an elegant appearance, makes it easy to maintain during regular use.
• The martensitic stainless steel of European origin reaches a hardness of 55-57 HRC, combining corrosion resistance with mechanical durability.
• The blade's high resistance to wear helps maintain excellent sharpness even with regular contact with harder materials during use.
• Under normal conditions, stainless steel does not require any special maintenance, which is practical for frequent use at home and on the go.
• The olive wood handle stands out with yellow to orange shades and a dense, often irregularly wavy natural grain.
• Each piece of olive wood has its own unique character thanks to the natural grain, so the appearance of individual handles may vary slightly.
• The lacquered surface helps protect the olive wood handle from moisture and dirt while highlighting the natural grain of the wood.
• The Virobloc safety ring allows the blade to be locked both when in use and when closed, making the knife safer to carry.
• The knife is made in France and combines compact dimensions, a precise cut, olive wood, and a safety lock suitable for everyday use.
