Pocket knife N°10 10 cm, natural, beech wood, Opinel

Product detailed description

The N°10 is for those moments when a small pocket helper starts to feel more like moral support. The larger Opinel makes it clear that this time you are actually going to get some real work done, rather than just symbolically poking at the problem.

Main advantages:

• The Opinel N°10 Inox folding knife is a larger utility model for outdoor activities, DIY and more demanding everyday use.
• The 10 cm blade provides plenty of working surface for food preparation, cutting tough materials and other practical tasks.
• Martensitic stainless steel of European origin with a hardness of 55-57 HRC offers high sharpness, mechanical resistance and very good protection against corrosion.
• The blade's high resistance to wear helps maintain a quality cut even with regular contact with harder materials before needing resharpening.
• The larger format of the N°10 model is also well suited for trimming smaller branches or working with denser and harder-to-cut materials.
• The classic Yatagan blade features an upswept tip and a convex profile, which supports its strength and allows for efficient sharpening of the edge.
• The varnished beech wood handle provides a comfortable grip and matches the traditional natural look of Opinel folding knives.
• The PEFC-certified beech wood comes from ecologically managed forests in the Jura and Vercors regions and excels in hardness and durability.
• Light beech wood can transition from yellow to pinkish tones, and its natural grain is complemented by characteristic small darker lines.
• The varnished surface helps protect the wooden handle from moisture and dirt during regular use at home and outdoors.
• The 13 cm handle provides plenty of space for a firm and comfortable grip on the larger knife during more demanding work.
• The Virobloc safety ring allows the blade to be locked in the open position during work and in the closed position during transport and storage.
• The stainless Virobloc consists of a fixed and a sliding part, so you can secure the chosen blade position by simply turning the ring.
• Under normal conditions, the stainless steel blade requires no special maintenance, making the N°10 a practical choice for frequent work and outdoor use.
• Made in France, the knife combines traditional Opinel construction with a larger blade designed for users who need more working space and cutting power.
