Pocket knife N°08 BUSHWACKER 8.5 cm, khaki, hornbeam wood, Opinel

Product detailed description

A pocket Opinel is a bit like that friend who doesn't talk much, but when there is a problem to solve, they are already prepared. That is exactly why you start taking such things with you automatically, even if you originally claimed you definitely didn't need them.

Main advantages:

• The Opinel N°08 BUSHWACKER folding knife is a practical companion for travel, trips and outdoor activities, where you will appreciate its compactness and versatile use.
• The 8.5 cm blade offers a practical size for preparing snacks, picnics, camping and various small tasks during travel.
• Martensitic stainless steel of European origin with a hardness of 55-57 HRC provides high sharpness, mechanical resistance and very good protection against corrosion.
• The blade's high resistance to wear helps maintain a quality cut even with regular contact with harder materials before needing resharpening.
• The handle, made from PEFC-certified hornbeam wood, features a natural khaki shade and a varnished finish that protects it from moisture and dirt.
• The ergonomically shaped wooden handle fits comfortably in the hand and provides a comfortable grip during everyday and outdoor activities.
• The classic Yatagan-type blade has a slightly raised tip and a convex profile, which supports the strength of the blade and allows for efficient resharpening.
• The hole at the end of the handle is complemented by a practical lanyard, thanks to which you can easily hang the knife or attach it to your gear.
• The 10.9 cm handle provides plenty of space for a comfortable grip and confident handling of the knife during various practical activities.
• The Virobloc safety ring allows the blade to be locked in the open position during work and in the closed position during transport and storage.
• The stainless steel Virobloc features a fixed and a sliding section, allowing you to secure the chosen blade position with a simple twist of the safety ring as needed.
• Under normal conditions, the stainless steel blade does not require any special maintenance and is well suited for a knife intended for regular use on the go.
• The compact N°08 model fits into a backpack and travel gear, serving well for hiking, camping and other outdoor activities.
• The knife is made in France and preserves the traditional Opinel design, complete with a practical hole and lanyard for easier carrying.
