Product detailed description

The N°08 BUSHWACKER is a pleasant compromise between a person who travels light and someone who would prefer to pack half of their workshop. It takes up little space, but provides plenty of reasons to feel that you have come on your journey somewhat prepared after all.

Main advantages:

• The Opinel N°08 BUSHWACKER folding knife is a practical companion for travels, trips and outdoor activities, where you will appreciate its compactness and versatile use.
• The 8.5 cm blade offers a practical size for preparing snacks, picnics, camping and various small tasks during travel.
• Martensitic stainless steel of European origin with a hardness of 55-57 HRC provides high sharpness, mechanical resistance and very good protection against corrosion.
• The blade's high resistance to wear helps maintain a quality cut even with regular contact with harder materials before needing resharpening.
• The handle made of varnished beech wood fits comfortably in the hand and preserves the characteristic natural look of traditional Opinel folding knives.
• The PEFC-certified beech wood comes from ecologically managed forests in the Jura and Vercors regions and excels in hardness and durability.
• The varnished surface helps protect the wooden handle from moisture and dirt during regular use at home and during outdoor activities.
• The hole at the end of the handle is complemented by a practical lanyard, thanks to which you can easily hang the knife or attach it to your gear.
• The 10.9 cm handle provides plenty of space for a comfortable grip and confident handling of the knife during various practical activities.
• The Virobloc safety ring allows the blade to be locked in the open position during work and in the closed position during transport and storage.
• The stainless steel Virobloc features a fixed and a sliding section, allowing you to secure the chosen blade position with a simple twist of the safety ring as needed.
• Under normal conditions, the stainless steel blade does not require any special maintenance and is well suited for a knife intended for regular use on the go.
• The compact N°08 model fits into a backpack and travel gear, serving well for hiking, camping and other outdoor activities.
• The knife is made in France and preserves the traditional Opinel construction, complemented by a practical hole and a lanyard for easier carrying.
