Pocket knife N°08 8.5 cm, walnut wood, Opinel

Product detailed description

The Opinel N°08 is one of those things that doesn't need ten functions and a flashing screen to make sense. Just keep it close at hand and you will quickly realise how many small tasks you used to solve with unnecessarily complicated methods.

Main advantages:

• The Opinel N°08 folding knife from the Luxury range offers a classic French design in an elegant finish with a distinctive walnut wood handle.
• The 8.5 cm blade offers a versatile size for everyday use, trips, preparing snacks and small outdoor tasks.
• Martensitic stainless steel of European origin with a hardness of 55-57 HRC provides high sharpness, mechanical resistance and good protection against corrosion.
• The blade's high resistance to wear helps maintain a quality cut over the long term, even with regular contact with harder materials during use.
• The French walnut wood handle catches the eye with its brownish-yellow to brownish-grey hues and often prominent darker grain, making every single piece unique.
• The varnished surface of the handle helps protect the natural wood from moisture and dirt during regular use at home and on your travels.
• The 10.9 cm handle provides plenty of space for a comfortable grip and confident handling of the knife during various practical activities.
• The Virobloc safety ring allows the blade to be locked in the open position during work and in the closed position during carrying.
• The stainless steel Virobloc consists of a fixed and a sliding part, so you can secure the chosen blade position by simply turning the ring as needed.
• Under normal conditions, the stainless steel blade requires no special maintenance and offers a practical combination of sharpness, durability and easy care.
• During use, it is advisable to avoid prolonged contact of the blade with acids, salt water or aggressive cleaning agents.
• The classic N°08 size provides a balanced ratio between the compactness of a folding knife and a blade large enough for versatile practical use.
• With a weight of 43 g, the knife remains pleasantly light, making it easy to pack into a pocket, backpack or your standard travel gear.
• The knife is made in France and preserves the traditional Opinel construction with a stainless steel blade, wooden handle and patented safety lock.
