Pocket knife N°08 8.5 cm, olive wood, with sheath, Opinel

Product detailed description

The Opinel N°08 is one of those things that doesn't need ten functions and a flashing screen to make sense. Just keep it close at hand and you will quickly realise how many small tasks you used to solve with unnecessarily complicated methods.

Main advantages:

• The Opinel N°08 Gift set brings the iconic French folding knife in an elegant package with a practical carrying sheath.
• The 8.5 cm blade offers a versatile size for everyday cutting, snack preparation, picnics and small tasks during trips.
• Martensitic stainless steel of European origin with a hardness of 55-57 HRC provides high sharpness, mechanical resistance and good protection against corrosion.
• The blade's high resistance to wear helps maintain a quality cut over the long term, even with regular contact with harder materials during use.
• The handle made of hard olive wood impresses with yellow to orange tones, a dense, distinctive grain and a smooth lacquered surface protected from moisture and dirt.
• The 10.9 cm handle provides plenty of space for a comfortable grip and confident handling of the knife during various practical activities.
• The Virobloc safety ring allows the blade to be locked in the open position during work and in the closed position during carrying.
• The stainless steel Virobloc consists of a fixed and a sliding part, so you can secure the chosen blade position by simply turning the ring as needed.
• Under normal conditions, the stainless steel blade requires no special maintenance and offers a practical combination of sharpness, durability and easy care.
• During use, it is advisable to avoid prolonged contact of the blade with acids, salt water or aggressive cleaning agents.
• The set includes a sheath, which allows you to carry the knife comfortably and also attach it to your belt.
• The knife and sheath are stored in a wooden box closed with a transparent plexiglass lid, so the set looks premium right upon presentation.
• The gift design will be appreciated by lovers of traditional knives, travel and outdoor activities who want practical equipment in a more valuable package.
• The knife is made in France and preserves the traditional Opinel construction with a stainless steel blade, wooden handle and patented safety lock.
