Pocket knife N°07 OUTDOOR JUNIOR 8 cm, blue, Opinel

Product detailed description

A children's trip into nature has a special ability to start as an innocent walk and turn within half an hour into an expedition, building a base and exploring everything along the way. OUTDOOR JUNIOR is exactly the type of gear that naturally fits into such an adventurous mode.

Main advantages:

• The Opinel N°07 OUTDOOR JUNIOR folding knife is designed for young adventurers heading out on hikes, camps, scout trips or near the water.
• The 8 cm long blade offers a practical size for outdoor activities, preparing snacks and small tasks during trips and camping.
• The rounded tip increases safety during use and is also suitable, for example, for spreading butter on bread or preparing sandwiches on a picnic.
• Martensitic stainless steel of European origin with a hardness of 55-57 HRC provides high sharpness, mechanical resistance and good protection against corrosion.
• High wear resistance of the blade helps to maintain cutting performance even with regular use before further sharpening is required.
• The handle made of fiberglass reinforced polymer resists impacts, moisture and extreme temperatures from -40 °C to +80 °C.
• The integrated pea-less whistle works in all weather conditions and reaches a volume of 110 dB to attract attention if needed.
• The 10 cm long handle offers younger users plenty of space for comfortable and controlled guidance of the knife during outdoor activities.
• The Virobloc safety ring allows the blade to be locked in the open position during use and in the closed position during carrying.
• The stainless steel safety lock design uses a fixed and a sliding part, so you can secure the chosen position of the blade by simply turning the ring.
• The knife is suitable for scouting, camping, hiking, sailing and other water activities where you will appreciate the durable construction and compact dimensions.
• Under normal conditions, the stainless steel blade does not require any special maintenance, although it is not recommended to expose it to acids, salt water or detergents for long periods.
• The combination of grey and blue elements gives the knife a subtle outdoor look and makes it easy to spot among other gear.
• The N°07 OUTDOOR JUNIOR is not a toy and, due to its sharp blade, is intended for use by younger users only under adult supervision.
• The knife is made in France and represents a patented outdoor design by Opinel with a lifetime warranty provided by the manufacturer.
