Pocket knife N°07 CARBON 8 cm, natural, beech wood, Opinel

Product detailed description

A pocket knife does not need to be the size of a machete to find a surprisingly large amount of work during the day. The Opinel N°07 CARBON is exactly that inconspicuous helper that takes up a minimum of space and yet, after a few weeks, makes you wonder how you ever functioned without it before.

Main advantages:

• The Opinel N°07 CARBON folding knife is a versatile helper for minor DIY jobs, camping, trips and everyday use.
• The 8 cm long blade offers a practical size for preparing snacks, minor cutting and various tasks during outdoor stays.
• The carbon steel XC90 blade excels in high hardness, excellent cutting performance and good wear resistance during regular use.
• Carbon steel is easy to resharpen, so you can continuously keep the edge in very good condition even with frequent use.
• After use, it is advisable to dry the blade thoroughly and treat it regularly with oil, which helps to reduce unwanted surface oxidation.
• The handle made of varnished beech wood provides a comfortable grip and preserves the characteristic natural appearance of traditional Opinel folding knives.
• The PEFC-certified beech wood comes from ecologically managed forests in the Jura and Vercors regions and excels in hardness and durability.
• The light handle can transition from yellow to pinkish tones, and its natural grain is complemented by typical small darker lines.
• The tinted varnish helps protect the wooden handle from moisture and dirt during regular use at home and while travelling.
• The 10 cm long handle offers plenty of space for a comfortable grip and controlled guidance of the knife during various practical activities.
• The Virobloc safety ring allows the blade to be locked in the open position during work and in the closed position during transport and storage.
• The stainless steel Virobloc consists of a fixed and a sliding part, so you can secure the chosen blade position by simply turning the ring according to your current needs.
• The folding knife is not dishwasher safe, and during cleaning, it is important not to soak the wooden handle or the carbon blade in water unnecessarily.
• The knife is made in France and represents a traditional Opinel model with a carbon blade, wooden handle and a lifetime warranty.
