Pocket knife N°07 BUSHWACKER 8 cm, light blue, hornbeam wood, Opinel

Product detailed description

A pocket Opinel is a bit like that friend who doesn't talk much, but when there is a problem to solve, they are already prepared. That is exactly why you start taking such things with you automatically, even if you originally claimed you definitely didn't need them.

Main advantages:

• The Opinel N°07 BUSHWACKER folding knife is a lightweight companion for hiking, camping, holidays, picnics and other outdoor adventures.
• The 8 cm long blade offers a practical size for snack preparation, small cutting tasks and everyday use during travel.
• Martensitic stainless steel of European origin with a hardness of 55-57 HRC provides high sharpness, mechanical resistance and very good protection against corrosion.
• The blade's high resistance to wear helps maintain a quality cut even with regular contact with harder materials before needing resharpening.
• The classic Yatagan-style blade features an upswept tip and a convex profile, which enhances blade strength and allows for efficient resharpening.
• The light blue handle made of varnished hornbeam wood gives the knife a fresh look and makes it easy to spot among your other travel gear.
• Hornbeam wood with PEFC certification comes from sustainably managed forests in the Jura and Vercors regions and absorbs dye very well.
• The varnished surface helps protect the wooden handle from moisture and dirt during regular use at home and during outdoor activities.
• The 10 cm long handle is comfortable to hold and its proportions suit various hand sizes during practical use.
• The practical lanyard allows the knife to be hung or attached to your gear, so you can easily keep it at hand while travelling.
• The Virobloc safety ring allows the blade to be locked in the open position during work and in the closed position during transport and storage.
• The stainless steel Virobloc features a fixed and a sliding section, allowing you to secure the chosen blade position with a simple twist of the safety ring as needed.
• A weight of just 38 g keeps the knife pleasantly light for everyday carry in a backpack, pocket or other travel gear.
• The knife is made in France and is based on the traditional Opinel construction, completed with a colourful handle and a lanyard for active outdoor use.
