Pocket knife N°07 8 cm, natural, beech wood, Opinel

Product detailed description

A pocket Opinel is a bit like that friend who doesn't talk much, but when there is a problem to solve, they are already prepared. That is exactly why you start taking such things with you automatically, even if you originally claimed you definitely didn't need them.

Main advantages:

• The Opinel N°07 folding knife is a practical companion for camping, picnics, trips and everyday use at home or outdoors.
• The 8 cm long blade offers a versatile size for preparing snacks, slicing food and various small tasks during travel.
• Martensitic stainless steel of European origin with a hardness of 55-57 HRC provides high sharpness, mechanical durability, and very good corrosion protection.
• The blade's high resistance to wear helps maintain a quality cut even with regular contact with harder materials before needing resharpening.
• The classic Yatagan blade features an upswept tip and a convex profile, which supports its strength and allows for efficient sharpening of the edge.
• The varnished beech wood handle provides a comfortable grip and preserves the characteristic natural look of traditional Opinel folding knives.
• The PEFC-certified beech wood comes from sustainably managed forests in the Jura and Vercors regions and excels in hardness and durability.
• The varnished surface helps protect the wooden handle from moisture and dirt during regular use at home and during outdoor activities.
• The 10 cm long handle offers plenty of space for a comfortable grip and controlled guidance of the knife during various practical activities.
• The Virobloc safety ring allows the blade to be locked in the open position during work and in the closed position during transport and storage.
• The stainless steel Virobloc consists of a fixed and a sliding part, so you can secure the chosen blade position by simply turning the ring according to your current needs.
• Under normal conditions, the stainless steel blade requires no special maintenance and is well-suited for a knife intended for frequent use on the go.
• When caring for the blade, it is advisable to avoid prolonged contact with acids, salt water or aggressive cleaning agents.
• The compact N°07 model easily fits into your standard gear and will serve you well during a picnic, camping or a family trip.
• The knife is made in France and preserves the traditional Opinel construction with a wooden handle, stainless steel blade and the patented Virobloc safety ring.
