Pocket knife N°06 BUSHWACKER 7 cm, sage, hornbeam wood, Opinel

Product detailed description

A pocket knife does not need to be the size of a machete to find a surprisingly large amount of work during the day. The Opinel N°06 is exactly that subtle helper that takes up minimal space, yet after a few weeks, it will make you wonder how you ever managed without it.

Main advantages:

• The Opinel N°06 BUSHWACKER folding knife is a compact companion for sports, trips, small tasks and everyday pocket carry.
• The 7 cm blade offers a practical size for preparing snacks, light cutting, crafting, and other everyday activities.
• Martensitic stainless steel of European origin with a hardness of 55-57 HRC provides high sharpness, mechanical durability, and very good corrosion protection.
• The blade's high resistance to wear helps maintain a quality cut even with regular contact with harder materials before needing resharpening.
• The classic Yatagan-style blade features an upswept tip and a convex profile, which enhances blade strength and allows for efficient resharpening.
• The sage handle made of varnished hornbeam wood gives the knife a natural look and makes it easy to recognise among your other personal gear.
• The PEFC-certified hornbeam wood comes from sustainably managed forests in the Jura and Vercors regions and takes color treatment very well.
• The varnished surface helps protect the wooden handle from moisture and dirt during regular use at home and during outdoor activities.
• The 9.29 cm handle fits comfortably, especially in smaller hands, and supports confident control of the knife during use.
• The practical lanyard allows you to hang the knife or attach it to your gear, so you can easily keep it close at hand while traveling.
• The Virobloc safety ring allows the blade to be locked in the open position during work and in the closed position during transport and storage.
• The stainless steel Virobloc features a fixed and a sliding section, allowing you to secure the chosen blade position with a simple twist of the safety ring as needed.
• The N°06 is suitable not only for outdoor and sports activities, but also for small crafts, DIY projects, or sewing.
• Weighing just 29 g, the knife remains pleasantly light, making it easy to pack into a pocket, backpack, or other travel gear.
• The knife is made in France and is based on the traditional Opinel construction, complemented by a distinctive colourful handle for active daily use.
