Pocket knife N°06 7 cm, natural, beech wood, Opinel

Product detailed description

A pocket knife does not need to be the size of a machete to find a surprisingly large amount of work during the day. The Opinel N°06 is exactly that subtle helper that takes up minimal space, yet after a few weeks, it will make you wonder how you ever managed without it.

Main advantages:

• The Opinel N°06 folding knife is a compact companion for everyday carry, sports, trips, and finer craft work.
• The 7 cm blade offers a practical size for preparing snacks, light cutting, crafting, and other everyday activities.
• Martensitic stainless steel of European origin with a hardness of 55-57 HRC provides high sharpness, mechanical durability, and very good corrosion protection.
• The blade's high resistance to wear helps maintain a quality cut even with regular contact with harder materials before needing resharpening.
• The classic Yatagan-style blade features an upswept tip and a convex profile, which enhances blade strength and allows for efficient resharpening.
• The varnished beech wood handle provides a comfortable grip and preserves the characteristic natural look of traditional Opinel folding knives.
• The PEFC-certified beech wood comes from sustainably managed forests in the Jura and Vercors regions and excels in hardness and durability.
• The varnished surface helps protect the wooden handle from moisture and dirt during regular use at home and during outdoor activities.
• The 9.29 cm handle is also suitable for smaller hands and allows for comfortable guidance of the knife during finer work.
• The N°06 is the smallest Opinel model equipped with the Virobloc safety lock, maintaining compact dimensions without compromising on secure blade locking.
• The Virobloc safety ring allows the blade to be locked in the open position during work and in the closed position during transport and storage.
• The stainless steel Virobloc features a fixed and a sliding section, allowing you to secure the chosen blade position with a simple twist of the safety ring as needed.
• The knife is suitable for outdoor and sporting activities, but will also serve well for minor DIY tasks, crafting, or sewing.
• Weighing just 28 g, the knife is exceptionally lightweight, making it easy to pack into your pocket, backpack, or everyday gear.
• The knife is made in France and represents a practical, smaller version of the traditional Opinel for users who appreciate lightness and compactness.
