Pocket knife N°03 4 cm, natural, beech wood, Opinel

Product detailed description

The N°03 is so small that next to a larger knife, it almost looks like its younger sibling on a school trip. Then a package, a model, or other detailed work comes along, and it turns out that the size was part of the plan all along.

Main advantages:

• The Opinel N°03 Inox folding knife is an exceptionally compact helper for everyday tasks, model making, crafting and precision handiwork.
• The 4 cm blade allows for precise guidance during delicate cutting, opening packages or working with smaller materials.
• Martensitic stainless steel of European origin with a hardness of 55-57 HRC offers high sharpness, mechanical resistance and very good protection against corrosion.
• The blade's high resistance to wear helps maintain a quality cut even with regular contact with harder materials before needing resharpening.
• Under normal conditions, stainless steel does not require any special maintenance, making it well-suited for a small knife designed for frequent use.
• Under long-term exposure to acids, salt water or aggressive detergents, it is nevertheless advisable to clean and thoroughly dry the blade.
• The handle made of varnished beech wood provides a comfortable grip and preserves the characteristic natural look of traditional Opinel knives.
• The PEFC-certified beech wood comes from ecologically managed forests in the Jura and Vercors regions and excels in hardness and durability.
• Light beech wood can transition from yellow to pinkish tones, and its natural grain is complemented by characteristic small darker lines.
• The varnished surface helps protect the wooden handle from moisture and dirt during regular daily use.
• The 5.6 cm handle keeps the entire knife truly miniature while providing sufficient control during finer work.
• You will appreciate its small dimensions in model making, creative activities, or unpacking parcels, where a larger utility knife is not needed.
• Its light weight and compact design make it easy to keep the knife close at hand in a small tool kit, pouch or organiser.
• The folding knife is not dishwasher safe, and it is important not to soak the wooden handle in water when cleaning.
• The knife is made in France and preserves the traditional character of Opinel in one of the brand's smallest and most compact designs.
