Kids cooking set LE PETIT CHEF, set of 3 pcs, red, Opinel

Product detailed description

LE PETIT CHEF is for children who are tired of being just the official taster in the kitchen. They will get their own real utensils and can gradually learn to slice, peel and participate in cooking, so that their greatest achievement is no longer just licking the wooden spoon.

Main advantages:

• The Opinel LE PETIT CHEF children's cooking set is designed for their first real cooking experiences and includes a kitchen knife, a peeler, and a finger guard for cutting.
• The kitchen knife with a 10 cm blade allows children to learn basic cutting techniques and gradually gain confidence when working in the kitchen.
• The special educational ring helps to position fingers correctly on the handle and guides the child to adopt a proper grip on the kitchen tool.
• The separate finger guard for cutting protects the hand holding the food being cut and helps children learn a safer hand position while working.
• The set also includes a peeler, with which children can get involved in peeling and other preparation of fruit and vegetables.
• Both the knife and the peeler have handles made of varnished beech wood, which is hard, durable and well suited for everyday kitchen utensils.
• The PEFC-certified beech wood comes from sustainably managed sources in the Jura and Vercors regions.
• The varnished surface helps protect the wooden handles from moisture and dirt during use.
• The blades are made of martensitic stainless steel of European origin with a hardness of 55-57 HRC.
• Stainless steel offers high corrosion resistance, good mechanical properties and high wear resistance.
• Distinctive red elements clearly distinguish the educational and protective parts of the set, giving the utensils a playful look suitable for little chefs.
• The set allows children to get involved in real food preparation while gradually learning correct tool handling and safe working habits.
• The LE PETIT CHEF collection is not a toy - the tools included are sharp, and adult supervision is therefore essential during use.
• The set is recommended for children from 7 years of age, although suitability also depends on the independence and maturity of the individual child.
• The set is made in France and represents a practical way to involve children in cooking together with utensils adapted to their first culinary experiences.
