Grilling utensils, set of 3 pcs, Opinel

Product detailed description

Smart barbecuing begins the moment you have everything you need right at hand, without having to run to the kitchen every five minutes. Opinel grilling utensils keep your barbecue gear neatly together, letting you focus on whether the steak is cooked to perfection and who gets the last piece.

Main advantages:

• The Opinel Barbecue Set offers three cleverly designed tools for preparing food on the grill, plancha, or garden fire pit.
• The set includes the N°12 B folding knife, the detachable Spatula+ kitchen turner, and the extra-long XL grill tongs.
• The N°12 B knife with its 16 cm blade effortlessly handles carving and slicing vegetables, fruit, meat, and fish directly during outdoor cooking.
• The generous blade length provides plenty of workspace for larger ingredients, yet the knife retains its practical folding design.
• Martensitic stainless steel of European origin achieves a hardness of 55–57 HRC and offers high mechanical and corrosion resistance.
• The blade’s good resistance to abrasion helps preserve a sharp edge even with regular use during barbecues and outdoor cooking.
• The robust handle made of PEFC-certified beech comes from sustainably managed sources in the Jura and Vercors regions.
• The varnished surface helps protect the beech handle against moisture and dirt encountered during outdoor use.
• The Virobloc safety ring allows the blade to be locked in the open position for use and locked shut for safe transport.
• The steel end-cap on the N°12 B handle functions as a crown cap bottle opener while also allowing the knife to be conveniently hung up.
• The Spatula+ attaches directly to the handle of the closed N°12 B knife and is securely fixed using the Virobloc ring.
• The detachable design of the kitchen turner saves space during transport and makes cleaning and storage after use much easier.
• The 8.5 × 20 cm working surface of the Spatula+ allows you to quickly scoop and flip larger quantities of food.
• The narrow working angle of the kitchen turner increases precision during handling, while the double-bevelled edges facilitate separating and scraping food.
• The stainless steel kitchen turner with a brushed finish stands up well to intensive use on the grill, plancha, or outdoor fire pit.
• The XL grill tongs measure 40 cm, allowing you to comfortably handle food from a safer distance from the heat source.
• The asymmetrical head of the tongs features a wide serrated section for larger pieces and a narrower section for precise gripping of smaller ingredients.
• An integrated slot at the heel of the tongs serves as a practical grill grate lifter, expanding the tool's versatility.
• Both the tongs and the kitchen turner feature a brushed stainless steel surface that gives the entire set a cohesive, functional, and modern look.
• All three tools are made in France from materials selected with an emphasis on local origin and long-term durability.
• The set belongs to the NoMAD collection, which focuses on smart, durable, and easily portable equipment for cooking outside the traditional kitchen.
