Dining cutlery set TABLE IN THE SUN, set of 8 pcs, olive wood, Opinel

Product detailed description

Mediterranean cuisine has a special way of convincing you that lunch should last at least two hours and that no one should be in a hurry. This set embraces that philosophy wholeheartedly, bringing an atmosphere to the table where it is very difficult to refuse dessert.

Main advantages:

• The TABLE IN THE SUN set creates a coordinated table setting of four knives and four forks with distinctive olive wood handles.
• Four N°125 Bon Appétit table knives with an 11 cm blade comfortably slice meat and other commonly served dishes.
• The smooth blades of the knives allow for a clean and precise cut without tearing the structure of the prepared or served food.
• Four Sylve forks complement the knives with a uniform material design, creating a complete place setting for four people.
• Sylve forks made of brushed stainless steel have timeless proportions and pleasantly shaped handles for comfortable dining.
• The martensitic stainless steel of the blades reaches a hardness of 55-57 HRC, offering high corrosion and mechanical resistance.
• Good resistance of the blades to abrasion helps maintain a quality edge even during regular contact with ceramic tableware.
• Olive wood lends each piece an original grain pattern made of dense and often highly wavy veining.
• The golden-yellow to orange shades of olive wood give the set table a naturally warm Mediterranean character.
• Hard olive wood is pleasant to the touch, polishes well, and stands out with its distinctive natural grain.
• The lacquered surface of the handles helps protect the wood from moisture and dirt during regular use at the dining table.
• The handles of the Sylve forks are also riveted, highlighting their traditional construction and visual continuity with the table knives.
• The Sylve collection was created in collaboration with the BIG-GAME design studio and builds on the simple, timeless look of table forks.
• The combination of olive wood and stainless steel creates a versatile set suitable for everyday family dining as well as more festive occasions.
• The complete set is designed as a harmoniously coordinated place setting that lets the natural beauty of olive wood stand out.
